Chocolate Chip Cream Bars

Mix together:

1/2 cup softened shortening
1/2 cup brown sugar

Stir in 1 cup flour, then flatten mixture in an UNGREASED cookie sheet with your hands.

Mix:

2 eggs, beaten
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Stir in:

2 T flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Add:

1 cup nuts
6 oz chocolate chips

Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees.  Cut into bars.

Note:  Doubled, this makes enough for the large Wear-Ever Cookie sheets.
