Corn Bread

2002 Cowley Cookbook

3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp soda
3 cups flour
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup cornmeal
1 1/2 cup buttermilk or milk
3 tsp. baking powder
2 T melted butter

Combine, stir by hand. Bake in greased 9 x 13" pan at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
